Font - thekau +3.9 hr. ago What symptoms did he start showing that made you realize something was wrong? Also why did they shave the fur off his wrists? 51 Reply Share the_other_day_ago OP. 9 hr. ago He threw up a lot. He never throws up. And he was even more cuddly and wanting attention than he usually is. And they shave the fur to be able to insert a catheter for an IV

Font - VoodooMamaJujuBubu +3.7 hr. ago Thank you for this, my hair ties are everywhere... I've only seen my 2 kittens play with them but not fully ingest. Either way this is something I will absolutely make sure to avoid any of these laying around!

Organism - +2 -10 hr. ago Meanwhile my cat will catch a fly, then spit it out a minute later, because he doesn't understand that he can swallow anything that isn't kibble or paté, even if it is food. Who_GNU

Font - NateGarro 6 hr. ago God, we got lucky. Our first cat loves playing with hair ties and he never swallowed them. When we got our second cat it turned out new cat likes to swallow the hair ties. We got lucky in the sense that he threw them up and didn't need surgery. But we spend weeks still finding them under furniture. I hope he feels better!

Font - ohs-hiit +2.7 hr. ago Oh my god this is my biggest fear. My cat, Sol, ever since he was a kitten also LOVES hair ties. I've had to wrestle him for hair ties before. I saw him eating them and I freaked. He was able to throw them up. Ever since, I will throw away or hide any hair tie I see on the floor. I'm so glad your baby is ok! Give him a kiss and some pets from this internet stranger! Also lots of love and support to you!
